Against all odds…

This is similar to the short-film series that I had added here few months ago. This is a beautiful short film, and I assure you that it is worth ~20 mins of your time. Though the short-film itself is a fictional story, the real-life, inspiring story of  Nick Vujicic (read more about him after you’ve seen the film) makes it special and takes it to another level.

The Butterfly Circus by Joshua Weigel

This story is about a traveling circus troupe, and during one such travel they come across a man without limbs (Nick Vujicic) in a carnival. They offer him to join their group, and some interesting transformation follows as he interacts more with them. My favourite scene from the film (despite some cliché metaphors) is the water scene. Do watch the film and if something appeals to you as well.

More about Nick Vujicic

The limbless man from this film is Nick Vujicic (Born: 1982), he was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of arms and legs. Do visit his website to know his incredible life journey. Here are some excerpts from it –

Nick faced tremendous obstacles in life from, living life without limbs, to being bullied at school and fearful for his future with no purpose in sight. Without hope, his feelings of helplessness and isolation led him to attempt suicide.

He survived, and today he is a world-renowned speaker, New York Times best-selling author, coach and entrepreneur.
